Sharks Pre/Post Hockey
Our Sharks’ Pre/Post Program is for 14U, 16U, and 18U aged players before and after their high school season. The Sharks will be fielding one 14U AA Major Team, one 16U Major Team and one 18U Major Team that will play in local tournaments, occasionally a travel tournament, and a practice(s).
Ages
14U is open to players born between January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2011.
16U is open to players born between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2009.
18U is open to players born between January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2009.
Please note, if your player is a 2006 birth year or earlier, he/she will be required to take the Safe Sport Core Training or Refresher Course prior to participation for the 2023-2024 season. This course is only valid for one season and a refresher is required every season thereafter.
When
Evaluation Skates will be held at the Brooklyn Rec Center located at 7600 Memphis Ave..
14U Evaluation Skate: March 13 from 7:30-8:30 PM
16U Evaluation Skate: March 13 from 8:45-9:45 PM
18U Evaluation Skate: March 14 from 7:30-8:30 PM
All tournaments for 14U and 16U will be played locally from March through April.
2 tournaments for 18U Major will be played locally. One tournament will be played out-of-town. All tournaments will be played from March through April.
Where
Tournament games will be at various rinks.
Practices
Teams will have a practice(s) and they will be announced after rosters are set.
Games
Each team will participate in 3 tournaments.
Jerseys
Jerseys will be provided for use and return at the end of the season. Any unreturned jerseys will result in a charge to the account for the full amount of the jersey.
Coaching Staff
We are excited to announce Head Coach Charlie Swartwood for our 14U AA Team and 18U Major Team. Mike Glover is returning as our 16U Team Head Coach.
Pre/Post- Spring 2024
The Cleveland Sharks are proud to announce the 2024 Spring Evaluation Skate for 14U alonG with our High School Pre/Post 16U and 18U teams.
Cost for the 14U, 16U and 18U Evaluation Skate is $40.00.
All Evaluations must be paid in advance and online at the time of registration. NO CASH OR CHECKS will be accepted.

If the player is placed on a team following the evaluation, the cost is $400 for 18U and 16U skaters and $375 for 14U skaters. The cost for goalies will be $275 for 18U and $250 for 16U and 14U.
14U will participate in 10-15 games and tournaments.
16U Teams will participate in 3 local tournaments on the following dates:

April 26-28th
18U Major Team will participate in 2 local and one out of town tournament on the following dates:
April 12-14th (Local)
April 19-21st (Southbend)
