Split Season Pre/Post

The Cleveland Sharks are pleased to announce the tryout schedule for our 16U and 18U National Bound teams beginning the 2026-2027 season. This will be an 18-week split schedule, with approximately 30 games, jerseys and player packs through Cloche hockey, skills sessions through Ohio Hockey Project, video replay review and more!

Ages

Our Sharks’ Pre/Post Program is for players in the 2008-2012 age range, and takes place before and after their high school season.

This Spring we will be fielding one National Bound 18U Major Team and one National Bound 16U Major Team.

The 18U Team will be led by Head Coach Tim Schuette.

The 16U Team will be led by Head Coach Mike Bell.

When

Tryouts dates are as follows:

16U (‘10/‘11/‘12 birth years)

- April 1st at 7:30pm

- April 8th at 7:30pm

- April 9th at 7:30pm

18U (‘08/‘09/‘10 birth years)

- April 1st at 8:45pm

- April 2nd at 7:30pm

- April 8th at 8:45pm

John M. Coyne Recreation Center located at 7600 Memphis Ave., Brooklyn, OH 44144.

Practices

Practices will be held 1-2 times per week.

Games

Approximately 30 games both held locally with up to 2 away tournaments.

Jerseys

Jerseys and Player Packs will be available for purchase from Cloche Hockey.

Additional information

*** Please note, if your player is a 2009 birth year or earlier, they will be required to take the Safe Sport Core Training or Refresher Course prior to participation for the 2026-2027 season. This course is valid for one season upon completion with a refresher course required every season thereafter.***
