8U Mite Hockey
Our 8U program is based on the guidance and standards of USA Hockey's American Development Model. We focus on skating and skill development all while fostering a love for the game of hockey by having FUN!
Ages
This program is for players born in 2016, 2017, and 2018 that have completed a Learn to Play or Learn to Skate program or previously played at the 8U Mite level.
When
We will hold an evaluation to form our team at the John M. Coyne Ice Rink on Friday, March 22nd at 6:45 PM. Practices begin the first week after Labor Day and the season runs until the middle of February.
Where
Practices are played at the John M. Coyne Rec Center and Garfield Ice Rink. All home games are played at the John M. Coyne Rec Center in Brooklyn, OH.

Games
Our 8U teams will play 4-on-4 half-ice games against teams from other clubs in the area. Teams are comprised of 9-10 players.
Jerseys
Players in this program must purchase these home and away jerseys and socks. These costs are not included in the Club Season fees.

Registrations are now open for our 8U Sharks Evaluation!
We will host our 8U evaluation on Friday, March 22nd at 6:45 PM. The evaluation will take place at the John M. Coyne Rec Center. located at 7600 Memphis Ave. Brooklyn, OH 44144.
