Cleveland Sharks
Full Season Travel Hockey
The Cleveland Sharks are a proud member of the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League (CSHL), competing in games across the greater Cleveland area. In addition to league play, our teams participate in competitive scrimmages against both in-state and out-of-state opponents, as well as select tournaments throughout the season. On average, our teams compete in 40-45 games annually, providing players with consistent, high-level game experience.
At the core of the Sharks organization is a strong commitment to family, athletic development, and enjoyment of the game. We take pride in creating a welcoming, family-oriented environment where players and their families are an integral part of the Sharks community. Through the leadership of our coaches and the support of our families, we emphasize sportsmanship, respect, and character—both on and off the ice.

Games and Tournaments
The Cleveland Sharks 10U, 12U and 14U team(s) play full-ice games. Our 8U team(s) play half ice game.
Depending upon the size and makeup of the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League division your team is placed in, the team will play approximately 20-27 games (8-12 pre-season & 12-15 regular season).
Preseason games typically start in the middle of September with the regular season starting in November and ending in late January or early February.
The playoffs are typically the last week of February or first week of March.
At the 10U, 12U and 14U level, our teams typically play in two tournaments a year. One tournament is local and one is a "stay and play" or travel tournament. In the past, the Sharks have traveled to Philadelphia, Buffalo, Rochester, Detroit, Niagara Falls and Pittsburgh. These tournaments are normally held on President's Day or Martin Luther King Day Weekends.
Tournaments are a fantastic opportunity for your player and your family to bond with their teammates and families.
Practices
Each player gets two to three ice touches for practices per week at the John M. Coyne Recreation Center beginning in September and running through February.
